China's car sales plummet 80% in February
Due to the new crown virus epidemic, factories closed dealers and suspended operations, and consumers were forced to stay home. China ’s car sales fell sharply in February.
The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, which has a government background, said on Thursday that auto sales in February fell 79.1% year-on-year, and national sales were only 310,000.
Chen Shihua, deputy secretary-general of the China Automobile Industry Association, said that stagnant automobile consumption and severely restrained demand will have a significant impact on the automobile market in the first half of the year.
